These little heart cookies are very tiny. Only about 3/4". I've packaged them in a see through box that
looks like those little conversation heart boxes.
The heart cookies were just dipped in flood icing and sprinkled with sugar.
The printed band was made with my simple laptop paint program.
This is another cute way to package these little hearts. Found this small heart printed pail at Michaels.
For a real wow factor, add a cookie plate. An edible cookie plate.
That way they can have their plate and eat it too.
Here I've change the color and style of the plate, and added larger mini heart cookies.
This was actually my first time doing a simple style of brush embroidery on a cookie, and I know it won't be my last.
For just a small gift put the cookies in bon bon papers and place on a tiny plate. This plate came in a set of 10 called mini square tasting plates.

SugarBelle's Facebook post says this is a must see and I must agree! Thanks for sharing your beautiful talent.
ReplyDeleteCan you tell me how thick you rolled the mini hearts? I made a large batch of minis last week and they were quite a hit.
Thanks Laura, the minis are rolled 1/4" thick.
DeleteI love your minis! And the edible plate is genius! Also love your little carrot plunger...GREAT idea for the mini cookie dough!
